JACKSONVILLE — A settlement agreement between Mosaic Co. and several environmental groups over mining operations at the company’s South Fort Meade mine in Hardee County has received the approval of the U.S. District Court in Jacksonville.

Today, the Federal District Court in Jacksonville approved the settlement agreement in the litigation challenging Mosaic’s federal permit to mine the Hardee County extension of our South Fort Meade mine.
